The historic Don Jail - located on the Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital campus--has been restored from a place of incarceration to one of innovation. The historic, 84,000-square-foot structure is now renamed the Hennick Bridgepoint Administration Building and provides office space for hospital administrators, educators and clinical leaders. This centre for education and learning creates a bridge between past and present.

Public access

Please note: Due to COVID-19, the Hennick Bridgepoint Administration Building (the historic Don Jail) is closed to the public until further notice.

More details about the History of the Don Jail can be found in the History of the Don Jail brochure. Preserving the history of the site is important to us, any artifacts or historical memorabilia can be directed to the Toronto Historical Association for proper curation.
