You can make a gift with lasting impact

Your legacy gift to Bridgepoint is a special type of donation that reflects what matters most to you.

Legacy gifts can include bequests, life insurance policies, charitable remainder trusts and more.

How to leave a bequest to Bridgepoint

Charitable bequests are the most common form of legacy gift. They allow you to extend your generosity beyond your lifetime.

Seek professional advice

Work with a qualified financial advisor, lawyer or accredited estate planner to balance your personal circumstances with your charitable goals.

Choose the bequest option that suits your needs

You may choose to leave a specific sum of money or a percentage of your estate in your will. Or you may decide to leave a gift of property or securities. Your financial advisor, lawyer or accredited estate planner can advise whether the bequest suits your situation and is legally valid.

Use Bridgepoint Foundation's legal name in your will

Your bequest should specify Bridgepoint Foundation, located at 1 Bridgepoint Road, Toronto, ON, M4M 2B5 (Charitable registration #88923 4399 RR0001). This will reduce delays in distributing your estate, so your bequest supports Bridgepoint's work as soon as possible.
