Due to the nature of complex chronic disease and rehabilitation, visits from family members and friends are critically important to improving a patient’s condition and quality of life. Visitors are encouraged to become active participants in their family member’s journey to wellness.
While visiting is encouraged, ensuring the health and safety of our patients and staff is our first priority. We strongly request that visitors not come to the hospital if they are feeling ill.
When you do come to visit, please remember to sanitize your hands upon arrival, before entering a patient room, when leaving a patient room and upon departure from the hospital. Hand sanitation stations are provided throughout the hospital.
Visiting Hours
Everyday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times while visiting.
How to Find Us
The main entrance to Bridgepoint Health is located on the west side of Broadview Avenue, just north of Gerrard Street East. We are just behind 430 Broadview Avenue.
Visitor Parking
There is visitor parking in the turning circle on the east side of the hospital by the main entrance, as well as along the main driveway to the south of 430 Broadview Avenue.
Visitor parking is also located in the parking lot on the south side of the hospital (north of the Don Jail) by the Admitting entrance. Parking charges are $3 per hour with a three hour maximum time limit.
Frequent visitors or outpatients who are in daily therapy may find it more cost-effective to purchase a monthly parking pass. There are a limited number of monthly parking passes available at the Gift Shop, located on the first floor of the hospital. They go on sale on the 25th of each month for $90, and are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. The passes are valid from the first of each month to month's end.
The hospital also offers monthly visitor parking passes to our offsite parking lot at a rate of $60 per month. The offsite parking lot is located at the corner of Dundas Street and Carlaw Avenue, which is about a 10 minute drive from the hospital. There is a free shuttle service to and from the hospital’s main entrance, which is available from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. All cars must be out of this lot by 6 p.m. as the lot is locked at this time until 6 a.m. the following morning. Alternately, you can find a City of Toronto 'Green P' pay parking lot at 573 Gerrard Street East (directly south of the hospital).
TTC Access
The 504 and 505 streetcars run along Broadview Avenue and stop at Bridgepoint Health. The 506 streetcar runs along Carlton Street, turns onto Parliament Street and then onto Gerrard Street East. Exit at Broadview Avenue and walk north to the Hospital’s main entrance.
