What are the basic skills required for complex chronic disease practitioners? Who needs these skills? What sort of training will contribute to team effectiveness? How should training be delivered for maximum transfer and use? This theme will incorporate research groups interested in education and training.
The first project will be focused on expanding the COIL project into a research project to develop and test the content and processes designed to enable effective teamwork. COIL stands for Collaborative Online Interprofessional Learning - four words that capture concepts that form the project’s foundation: different disciplines working and learning together using cutting edge technology and human collaboration to achieve excellent patient care. Visit the COIL website for more information about this exciting and innovative project. |
