Thanks to a $250,000 gift from Sun Life Financial, Bridgepoint Health has launched the new Sun Life Financial Health Information Centre, an information centre for the growing number of Canadians who want resources about healthy living and living well with multiple lifelong illnesses, known as complex chronic disease.

The Sun Life Financial Health Information Centre serves patients, their friends and families, and the larger Bridgepoint community. We provide access to information resources, programs and services that help people living with complex chronic diseases cope with their conditions and make better, more-informed decisions and choices to positively impact their overall well-being.
Our growing collection of resources covers chronic conditions, treatments, health promotion and coping strategies offered by conventional medicine, as well as complementary and alternative therapies. Resources deal with physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual aspects of complex chronic conditions.
We offer these services free of charge; including a lending library of books, CDs and DVDs, access to a wide variety of brochures and pamphlets, and an ever growing collection of online resources. If you are unable to find the information you need, assistance in researching topics is available. We also provide onsite computer instruction and help in using computer programs, applications and online health information sources.
