The Cultural Interpreters Program addresses the needs of non-English speaking patients and family members.
The program has a dedicated resource for patients and families who speak Cantonese and Mandarin. Bilingual staff and volunteers are screened and trained to provide interpreter services, and freelance interpreter services are available as required.
After-hours and emergency issues are addressed through Language Line telephone interpreter services.
