View Bridgepoint's Quality Improvement Plan
01/04/2011
One of the ways that the Excellent Care for All Act is helping hospitals meet our community’s expectations regarding quality, patient safety and accountability is through the public reporting of Quality Improvement Plans (QIP). Bridgepoint places the highest priority on patient safety and the quality of care and services it delivers for patients with complex, chronic illness and disability. Quality Improvement Plans provide a meaningful way for Bridgepoint Health to clearly articulate our accountability to our community, patients and staff. Our QIP is focused on creating a positive patient experience and delivering high quality health care.

New report on chronic illness underscores Bridgepoint's important work
28/01/2011
Complex chronic illness, and not age, is the biggest drain on Canada’s health care system according to a recently published report from the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).
“CIHI’s report adds to the growing body of knowledge on complex chronic illness. It also complements Bridgepoint Health’s focus on complex chronic illness, particularly the work underway at the Collaboratory and our commitment to a Family Health Team,” said Dr. Renée Lyons, Bridgepoint Chair in Complex Chronic Disease Research and the TD Financial Group, Scientific Director, Bridgepoint Collaboratory for Research and Innovation. |
