Affiliated with Bridgepoint’s LiveWell! program, Wellness Wishes is a “one-way” service that allows patients to receive e-mail greetings from their family and friends. This service provides a way of "keeping in touch" and is particularly beneficial for family and friends who may live far from the Hospital and are unable to visit regularly in person.
Wellness Wishes is intended for family and friends to send a positive message to a patient during their hospital stay.
Your message will be received by the Patient Wellness Coordinator, placed into a confidential, sealed envelope, and delivered directly to the patient within 48 hours of its receipt.
Please note:
- Greetings will only be delivered to patients who are registered in the hospital's central registry system. Patients who have been discharged or are registered under a name that differs from the e-mail received will not be delivered.
- Wellness Wishes is a one-way service, so patients are unable to reply to messages they have received through this service.
- Maintaining a peaceful and healing environment for patients is a priority at Bridgepoint. Messages containing inappropriate content (profanity, alarming or offensive information) will not be delivered.
- Wellness Wishes is not to be used for obtaining medical advice, for urgent matters or as a means of contacting a health care professional with general health-related questions. These messages will be deleted from the system.
- Do not send sensitive subject matter. Wellness Wishes does not have the security of a sealed letter or telephone conversation.
- Bridgepoint is not responsible for Wellness Wishes that are misdirected, lost or unintentionally deleted from the system.
