Deborah Orida is a Senior Portfolio Manager at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, where she focuses on providing transformational capital to leading Canadian and international public companies, working collaboratively with management teams and boards of directors. Before this, she was a Vice President in investment banking at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York. During her nine years at Goldman Sachs, Ms. Orida advised companies and private equity firms on numerous mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Orida was a securities lawyer at Blake, Cassels & Graydon in Toronto.

Ms. Orida holds Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees from Queen’s University, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She joined the Bridgepoint Health Foundation Board of Directors in 2010.
